Swiss Steak
2 lbs steak, cubed
2 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 onion, sliced thinly
1 carrot, sliced thinly
1 stalk celery, sliced thinly
1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
Mix flour, salt and pepper. Dredge steak pieces in flour mixture. Put onions in bottom of crockpot. Add meat. Top with carrots, celery, and cover with tomato sauce. Cook on low all day or on high for 3-5 hours.
Serve over rice. Serves 4.
