GREEN BEANS AND SAUSAGE
Makes 4 to 6 servings
1 quart green beans, cut into 2-inch lengths
1 carrot, chopped
1 small green bell pepper, chopped
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 pound bulk pork sausage or link sausage cut into 1-inch pieces
Combine all ingredients except sausage in slow cooker. Cover and cook on
high 3 to 4 hours. Add sausage. Cook on low 2 hours.
