Below is my laundry soap recipe. To a reused pretreat bottle I add this detergent and fill 1/2 full, I add about 2 TB of Epson Salt fill the rest with hot water and shake well.

Homemade Laundry Detergent - Liquid
4 Cups Water
1 Bar Fels-Naptha Soap
1 Bar Ivory Soap
1 Cup Washing Soda or Laundry Detergent
1 Cup Borax
1 5 Gal Bucket

Grate both bars of soap and add to a large pot with the 4 cups of water. Cook on Low to Medium heat until soap is disolved.
Pour cooked soap into bucket and add Washing Soda/Laundry Detergent, and add Borax. Stir well until disolved and Fill bucket
with hot water. Stir well and let sit over night covered to thicken.

Stir well and fill Laundry Detergent Bottles or rinsed and well cleaned Milk Jugs 1/2 with detergent and 1/2 with water. Shake them well
before each use as they are going to gel and thicken a bit more.
