Butterscotch Corn Flake Bars
2 eggs
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. grated orange rind
3/4 c. corn flakes
3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped walnuts
Beat eggs; add sugar. Cook over hot water or a double boiler, stirring
constantly for 15 minutes. Add grated orange rind, cool. Add corn flakes. Sift
together flour, baking powder and salt and then add chopped walnuts. Add all
together and mix well. Spread into a greased 8x8 baking pan. Bake in a preheated
350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Cool and then slice into bars.
